Matthew Ryan Bussin, Esq. was admitted to the Florida Bar in October 2017 and has experience in numerous areas of law including personal injury, workers’ compensation, social security disability and complex business litigation.
By way of background, Mr. Bussin received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2017 from Stetson University College of Law while working full time as a law clerk. He was born and raised in New York and competed in extemporaneous public speaking competitions in high school. He moved to Florida after graduating high school and received his undergraduate degree in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
Prior to attending law school, Matt served as a personal injury case manager with an Orlando-based firm. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Matt’s role expanded to include workers’ compensation, social security disability, and general litigation. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Matt transitioned to a leading insurance defense firm specializing in workers’ compensation defense. Subsequently, he practiced complex business litigation representing multi-million-dollar companies. Matt has since dedicated his practice to workers’ compensation including a successful appeal, Green-Kemp v. Suwannee River Moose Lodge, 297 So. 3d 537 (Fla 1st DCA 2020).
